8 slices of turkey breast (deli style)

8 slices of your favorite cheese (Swiss, cheddar, or provolone work well)

1/4 cup Dijon mustard (optional)

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon fresh black pepper

1/2 teaspoon dried Italian herbs (or your favorite herbs)

Cooking spray or olive oil for brushing

Fresh parsley or chives for garnish (optional)

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with cooking spray.

    Prepare the Dough: Unroll the crescent roll dough on a clean surface. Separate it into the pre-scored triangles according to the package instructions.

      Add the Spread (optional): If you’re using Dijon mustard, spread about a teaspoon on each triangle of dough, ensuring to cover the wider end where the turkey and cheese will rest.

        Layer the Fillings: Place 1 slice of turkey on each triangle, followed by a slice of cheese. Extend them slightly towards the pointy end of the triangle for uniform rolling.
