Ingredients
  

4 cups fresh broccoli florets

6 slices of crispy bacon, chopped

1 cup grated sharp cheddar cheese

½ cup red onion, finely diced

½ cup sunflower seeds

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

½ cup mayonnaise

2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar

2 tablespoons honey

Salt and pepper to taste

Optional: Fresh parsley, for garnish

Prepare the Broccoli: Blanch the broccoli florets in boiling water for 2 minutes, then immediately transfer them to an ice bath to stop cooking. Drain and pat dry.

    Cook the Bacon: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy. Once done, remove it from the pan and place it on paper towels to absorb excess grease. Chop the bacon into bite-sized pieces once cooled.

      Make the Dressing: In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, honey, salt, and pepper until smooth and well combined.

        Combine the Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the blanched broccoli florets, chopped bacon, grated cheddar cheese, diced red onion, sunflower seeds, and halved cherry tomatoes.

          Add the Dressing: Pour the dressing over the salad ingredients and toss gently until everything is evenly coated.
