Ingredients

1 lb ground turkey

2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened

1 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped

1 tbsp fresh basil, finely chopped

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

½ tsp salt

½ tsp black pepper

8 slider buns

4 slices of cheese (Swiss, cheddar, or your choice)

Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato slices, pickles, or avocado

Instructions

Prepare the Herb Butter: In a small bowl, combine the softened butter, chopped parsley, chopped basil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined and set aside.

Form the Turkey Patties: In a large mixing bowl, add the ground turkey. Using your hands, gently mix in half of the prepared herb butter (reserve the other half for later). Divide the turkey mixture into eight equal portions and form into small patties.

Cook the Sliders: Preheat a non-stick skillet or grill over medium heat. Cook the turkey patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until they are cooked through and have an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C). If using cheese, place a slice on each patty during the last minute of cooking to allow it to melt.

Toast the Buns: While the sliders are cooking, slice the slider buns in half. In a separate pan, toast the cut sides of the buns over medium heat until golden brown.

Assemble the Sliders: Spread the remaining herb butter on the inside of each toasted bun. Place a cooked turkey patty on the bottom half of each bun. Add your desired toppings (lettuce, tomato, pickles, or avocado) and place the top half of the bun on.

Serve and Enjoy: Serve the sliders warm with your favorite dipping sauce or as is for a fresh, tasty treat!
