Ingredients

2 ripe bananas, sliced

1 cup vanilla pudding mix

2 cups milk

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup whipped cream (store-bought or homemade)

1 package (about 8 oz) of vanilla wafers

Optional: extra banana slices and crushed vanilla wafers for garnish

Instructions

Prepare the Pudding: In a medium bowl, whisk together the vanilla pudding mix and milk until smooth. Add the vanilla extract and mix well. Let it sit for about 5 minutes to thicken.

Fold in Whipped Cream: Gently fold half of the whipped cream into the pudding mixture using a spatula. This will lighten the pudding without deflating the whipped cream.

Layering the Cups: In clear cups or ramekins, begin layering your dessert. Start with a layer of vanilla wafers at the bottom, followed by a layer of the banana slices. Then add a layer of the pudding mixture and top with a dollop of whipped cream.

Repeat the Layers: Repeat the layering process until the cups are filled, making sure the top layer is a generous dollop of whipped cream. If desired, place an extra banana slice on top and sprinkle with crushed vanilla wafers for garnish.

Chill: Cover the pudding cups with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving, allowing the flavors to meld together and the wafers to soften slightly.

Serve: Once chilled, remove from the refrigerator, and enjoy your delightful No-Bake Banana Pudding Cups!
