Ingredients

6 large eggs

1/2 cup milk

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1 tablespoon unsalted butter

1 large apple (such as Honeycrisp or Granny Smith), thinly sliced

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

8 small slider buns (preferably whole grain)

4 slices of cheddar cheese, halved

2 tablespoons maple syrup (optional, for drizzling)

Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Egg Mixture: In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, pepper, and garlic powder until well combined. Set aside.

Cook the Apples: In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the sliced apples and sprinkle with cinnamon. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until tender and slightly caramelized. Remove from heat and set aside.

Cook the Eggs: In the same skillet, pour in the egg mixture. Cook over medium heat, gently stirring with a spatula, until the eggs are cooked through but still fluffy (about 5-6 minutes). Be careful not to overcook. Remove from heat.

Assemble the Sliders: Slice the slider buns in half horizontally. On the bottom half of each bun, place a spoonful of the scrambled eggs, followed by a few slices of sautéed apple, and top with a half slice of cheddar cheese.

Melt the Cheese: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the assembled sliders on a baking sheet and bake for about 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the buns are heated through.

Serve: Drizzle with maple syrup if desired, and add fresh mint leaves for garnish. Place the top halves of the buns on each slider, serve warm, and enjoy your delicious breakfast sliders!
