Ingredients

1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 cup plain yogurt

2 tbsp tikka masala paste (or powder)

1 tbsp lemon juice

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp ginger powder

½ tsp cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)

Salt and pepper to taste

8 small flour tortillas

1 cup lettuce leaves, shredded

1 cup cucumber, diced

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

½ cup red onion, thinly sliced

½ cup cilantro, chopped

Optional: raita or mint yogurt sauce for serving

Instructions

Marinate the Chicken: In a large bowl, combine the yogurt, tikka masala paste, lemon juice, garlic powder, ginger powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper. Mix well until smooth. Add the chicken breasts and ensure they are well coated with the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best flavors.

Cook the Chicken: Preheat your grill or stovetop skillet over medium-high heat. Remove the chicken from the marinade and cook for about 6-7 minutes per side or until fully cooked (internal temperature should reach 165°F/75°C). Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing it into thin strips.

Assemble the Sliders: Take a tortilla and layer it with shredded lettuce, diced cucumber, sliced cherry tomatoes, and red onion. Add a few strips of the cooked chicken on top. Sprinkle chopped cilantro for freshness.

Finish and Serve: If desired, drizzle some raita or mint yogurt sauce over the filling. Roll the tortilla tightly and cut it in half to create sliders. Arrange beautifully on a serving platter.

Garnish and Enjoy: Dip in the raita or mint yogurt sauce! Serve immediately for the best taste, or secure with a toothpick and serve as a party treat.

Prep Time, Total Time, Servings: 15 mins | 1 hour (including marinating) | 4-6 sliders (depends on size of tortillas)
