Ingredients

1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough

1 cup cooked chicken, shredded or diced

1 cup marinara sauce

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

Prepare Chicken Mixture: In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked chicken, marinara sauce, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well until the chicken is evenly coated and the ingredients are combined.

Roll Out Crescent Dough: Unroll the crescent roll dough onto a clean surface. Separate the dough into the pre-scored triangles.

Fill the Dough: Take a generous tablespoon of the chicken mixture and place it at the wide end of each crescent triangle. Be careful not to overfill.

Roll Up: Starting at the wide end, roll each triangle up towards the point, tucking in any sides as you go to seal the filling.

Arrange on Baking Sheet: Place the rolled crescent bites on the prepared baking sheet, point side down to prevent them from unrolling during baking.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until the bites are golden brown and puffed.

Serve: Allow them to cool for a few minutes before transferring to a serving platter. Garnish with fresh basil leaves if desired. Serve with extra marinara sauce on the side for dipping.

Prep Time: 20 minutes | Total Time: 35 minutes | Servings: 8 (about 16 bites)
