Ingredients

1 lb ground beef (80/20 blend for juiciness)

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

½ tsp smoked paprika

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or American cheese)

1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

1 tbsp olive oil

1 head of butter lettuce (or iceberg), leaves separated

1 small tomato, diced

½ cup dill pickles, chopped

¼ cup red onion, finely diced

2 tbsp ketchup

2 tbsp mustard

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Beef: In a medium bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix gently with your hands until just combined—do not overwork the meat.

Form Mini Patties: Divide the mixture into 8 equal portions and shape them into small patties, about 1 to 1.5 inches wide.

Cook the Patties: Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the patties and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C). During the final minute of cooking, sprinkle the shredded cheese on top of each patty and cover the skillet to melt the cheese.

Construct Lettuce Wraps: Take a leaf of lettuce and place a cheesy mini patty on the center. Top with diced tomatoes, chopped pickles, and red onion.

Add Condiments: Drizzle with ketchup and mustard. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.

Serve & Enjoy: Carefully wrap the lettuce around the filling and enjoy these delicious bites as a fun, low-carb alternative to traditional cheeseburgers!
