1 block (14 oz) firm tofu, drained and pressed

1 cup buffalo sauce (store-bought or homemade)

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

1 head of butter or romaine lettuce, separated into leaves

½ cup shredded carrots

½ cup diced celery

½ cup crumbled blue cheese or vegan alternative (optional)

2 green onions, sliced

Fresh cilantro or parsley for garnish

Preparations: Start by pressing the tofu to remove excessive moisture. Wrap it in a clean kitchen towel and place a heavy object on top for about 15-20 minutes. This will help the tofu absorb the flavors better.

    Cube the Tofu: Once the tofu is pressed, cut it into bite-sized cubes (about 1-inch pieces).

      Marinate the Tofu: In a bowl, combine the buffalo sauce, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Add the cubed tofu and gently toss to coat well. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes while you prepare the rest of the ingredients.

        Cook the Tofu: Preheat a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated tofu cubes to the skillet (discard any remaining marinade). Sauté the tofu for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally until it’s crispy and has absorbed the buffalo flavor.
