Ingredients

4 ears of fresh corn

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

1/4 cup honey

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust for heat preference)

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Prep the Corn: Carefully slice each ear of corn in half lengthwise, then slice each half into quarters to create rib-like sections. You should have about 8 corn ribs from each ear.

Make the Honey Butter Sauce: In a mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, honey, garlic powder, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper. Whisk until well incorporated.

Preheat the Grill or Oven: If using a grill, preheat it to medium-high heat. If using an oven, preheat to 400°F (200°C).

Coat the Corn Ribs: Place the corn ribs in a large bowl and pour the honey butter mixture over them. Toss to ensure they are evenly coated.

Grill or Bake the Corn Ribs:

            - Grilling: Place the corn ribs on the grill. Grill for about 10-12 minutes, turning them occasionally until they are tender and have nice grill marks.

              - Baking: Arrange the coated corn ribs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are golden and crispy on the edges.

Serve: Once cooked, remove the corn ribs from the grill or oven and let them cool for a couple of minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving. Drizzle with additional honey if desired for extra sweetness.
