Ingredients

4 medium parsnips, peeled and cut into fry-shaped sticks

3 tablespoons olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon dried thyme

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

Prepare the Parsnips: In a large bowl, combine the cut parsnips with the olive oil, minced garlic, garlic powder, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper. Toss well until the parsnips are evenly coated.

Add Parmesan: Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the seasoned parsnips and toss again to distribute it evenly.

Arrange on Baking Sheet: Spread the seasoned parsnip fries in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, making sure they are not overcrowded to ensure even roasting.

Roast: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and roast for about 25-30 minutes, turning the fries halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.

Garnish and Serve: Once done, remove the parsnip fries from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.

Enjoy: Serve warm as a delicious side or snack on their own, perhaps with a side of your favorite dipping sauce.
