1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined

4 cloves garlic, minced

Zest and juice of 2 limes

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon chili powder

1 teaspoon paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

1 tablespoon fresh cilantro, chopped (plus extra for garnish)

1 head of butter lettuce (or romaine), leaves separated

1 avocado, sliced

1 cup diced mango (optional)

1/4 cup red onion, finely diced

1/4 cup diced cucumber (optional)

Lime wedges for serving

Instructions
 

Marinate the Shrimp: In a bowl, combine garlic, lime zest, lime juice, olive oil, chili powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Add shrimp and toss well to coat. Cover and marinate for at least 15 minutes.

    Cook the Shrimp: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until shrimp are pink and opaque. Remove from heat and stir in fresh cilantro.

      Prepare the Lettuce Wraps: While the shrimp is cooking, prepare your lettuce wraps. Rinse and dry the lettuce leaves, then set aside on a platter.

        Assemble the Wraps: On each lettuce leaf, place a few shrimp, top with avocado slices, diced mango (if using), red onion, and cucumber.
