1 pound fresh asparagus, trimmed

3 tablespoons olive oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

Zest of 1 lemon

Juice of 1 lemon

1 teaspoon kosher salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Grated Parmesan cheese (for serving, optional)

Fresh lemon wedges (for garnish)

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).

    Prepare Asparagus: Rinse the asparagus under cold water and pat dry. Trim the tough ends by snapping them off or cutting about 1-2 inches from the bottom.
