As the sun blazes and temperatures soar, there's nothing quite like the refreshing allure of frozen treats to help you beat the heat. Among the most popular options are frozen yogurt and popsicles, both of which promise a delightful taste while providing a cool respite from summer's sweltering embrace. Ingredients

2 cups plain Greek yogurt

1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and halved

1/2 cup rolled oats

1/4 cup honey or maple syrup

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Pinch of salt

Optional toppings: crushed nuts, granola, or shredded coconut

Instructions

Prepare Strawberry Mixture: In a blender or food processor, combine the fresh strawberries and honey (or maple syrup). Blend until smooth, but you can leave a few small strawberry bits for texture if desired. Set aside.

Mix Yogurt Base: In a mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, rolled oats, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Stir until well-mixed and oats are evenly distributed throughout the yogurt.

Layer the Pops: Grab your popsicle molds. Start by adding a spoonful of the yogurt mixture into each mold, pressing it down slightly to avoid air pockets.

Add Strawberry Layer: Next, add a layer of the strawberry mixture on top of the yogurt layer. Use a skewer or toothpick to gently swirl the two mixtures together for a marbled effect.

Repeat Layers: Continue layering the yogurt mixture and strawberry mixture until the molds are full, leaving a little space at the top for expansion as they freeze.

Insert Sticks and Freeze: Insert sticks into each mold. Place the molds in the freezer and freeze for at least 4-6 hours, or until completely solid.

Unmold and Serve: When ready to enjoy, run the molds under warm water for a few seconds to make it easier to remove the pops. Enjoy immediately or store in the freezer for later!
