Ingredients

2 cups cereal of choice (cornflakes, fruity pebbles, etc.)

1 cup whole milk

1 cup plain yogurt (Greek or regular)

1/4 cup honey or maple syrup

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup whipped cream (optional, for topping)

Fresh fruit or granola for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Cereal Milk Preparation:

    - In a large bowl, combine the cereal and whole milk. Stir to ensure all the cereal is submerged.

      - Let the mixture sit for about 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld, occasionally stirring to make sure the milk absorbs the cereal flavor.

        Strain the Cereal Milk:

          - Once the cereal has soaked, strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth into a separate bowl, pressing down on the cereal to extract as much milk as possible. Discard the leftover cereal.

            Combine Ingredients:

              - In another bowl, whisk together the strained cereal milk, yogurt, honey (or maple syrup), vanilla extract, and salt until smooth and well combined.

                Pouring the Mixture:

                  - Line a square or rectangular baking dish (about 8x8 inches) with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal later.

                    - Pour the yogurt mixture into the prepared dish, smoothing the top with a spatula to ensure an even layer.

                      Freeze:

                        - Cover the baking dish with plastic wrap and place it in the freezer for at least 4 hours, or until fully set.

                          Cutting and Serving:

                            - Once frozen, remove the dish from the freezer and lift the set yogurt block out by pulling on the parchment overhang.

                              - Cut into squares or bars using a sharp knife.

                                - If desired, serve with a dollop of whipped cream and garnish with fresh fruit or granola.

                                  Enjoy:

                                    - These Frozen Yogurt Cereal Milk Squares can be enjoyed immediately or stored in an airtight container in the freezer for up to two weeks!
