4 whole wheat pita breads

1/4 cup granulated sugar

1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

1/4 cup olive oil or melted coconut oil

1/4 teaspoon sea salt

Optional: 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup for drizzling

    Prepare the Pitas: Split each pita in half to create two thin rounds from each pita. You can stack them to make this process quicker.

        Brush with Oil: Lay the pita halves on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Using a pastry brush, lightly brush both sides of the pita halves with olive oil or melted coconut oil.
