Ingredients

1 package (12 oz) refrigerated cheese ravioli

1 cup all-purpose flour

2 large eggs

1 cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko for extra crunch)

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

Olive oil spray (or enough oil for shallow frying)

Marinara sauce for dipping

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Ravioli: Begin by boiling a pot of salted water. Once boiling, add the ravioli and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and allow them to cool slightly on a paper towel.

Set Up Breading Station: In three separate shallow dishes, place the flour in the first, beaten eggs in the second, and a mixture of breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in the third.

Bread the Ravioli: Dredge each ravioli first in the flour, shaking off excess, then dip into the beaten eggs, and finally coat with the breadcrumb mixture. Ensure each ravioli is evenly coated.

Chill for Extra Crispiness: Place the breaded ravioli on a baking sheet and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. This step helps the coating adhere better during cooking.

Cook the Ravioli: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) or heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat. If baking, lightly spray the breaded ravioli with olive oil. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through. If frying, carefully add the ravioli in batches to avoid overcrowding and fry until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.

Drain and Serve: Remove the crispy ravioli from the oven or oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to absorb excess oil. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley.

Prepare for Dipping: Serve your crispy toasted ravioli bites warm, accompanied by marinara sauce for dipping.
