Ingredients

1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

1/2 cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko for extra crispiness)

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

Preheat the oven: Start by preheating your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Prepare the shrimp: In a bowl, toss the shrimp with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika until evenly coated.

Make garlic butter: In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes, sauté for about 1-2 minutes, until fragrant but not browned.

Coat the shrimp: Add the shrimp to the skillet and quickly stir to coat them in the garlic butter. Cook for about 2-3 minutes until they turn opaque (not fully cooked through).

Add breadcrumbs: Remove the skillet from the heat and sprinkle the breadcrumbs over the shrimp, gently tossing to combine until the shrimp are well-coated.

Bake the shrimp: Transfer the shrimp mixture to a baking dish and spread it out evenly. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes until the shrimp are fully cooked and the breadcrumbs are golden and crispy.

Garnish and serve: Remove from the oven and garnish with freshly chopped parsley. Serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side for squeezing over the shrimp.
