Ingredients

1 large bag of tortilla chips (about 12 oz)

2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup cooked and crumbled bacon (about 6 slices)

1 cup pulled pork (or shredded rotisserie chicken)

1 cup BBQ sauce (your favorite brand)

1 small red onion, finely chopped

1 jalapeño, sliced (optional, for heat)

1 cup fresh pico de gallo (or diced tomatoes)

1/2 cup sour cream

1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)

1 avocado, diced (optional)

Instructions

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Prepare the Base: On a large baking sheet or oven-safe dish, spread out the tortilla chips in an even layer, slightly overlapping if necessary.

      Layer the Ingredients:

        - Sprinkle half of the cheddar and mozzarella cheese evenly over the chips.

          - Distribute the crumbled bacon and pulled pork (or chicken) over the cheese.

            - Drizzle half of the BBQ sauce over the meat.

              - Add the chopped red onion and jalapeño slices for an extra kick, if using.

Add More Cheese: Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top, ensuring that it covers all the toppings nicely.

Bake the Nachos: Place the loaded nachos in the preheated oven and bake for about 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese has melted and is bubbly.

Finishing Touches: Once out of the oven, drizzle the remaining BBQ sauce over the hot nachos. Top with pico de gallo, sour cream, diced avocado (if using), and chopped cilantro for freshness.

Serve Immediately: Enjoy your cheesy BBQ bacon loaded nachos fresh out of the oven while they’re hot and gooey!
