Ingredients

1 cup fresh blueberries

1 cup water (for blueberry syrup)

1 tablespoon dried culinary lavender

1 cup water (for lavender infusion)

1/2 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 3-4 lemons)

1/2 cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)

4 cups cold water (for dilution)

Lemon slices, fresh blueberries, and lavender sprigs for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Make the Blueberry Syrup:

    - In a small saucepan, combine the fresh blueberries and 1 cup water over medium heat.

      - Bring to a gentle simmer and cook for about 10 minutes, mashing the blueberries with the back of a spoon to release their juices.

        - Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a bowl to remove the solids. Set the blueberry syrup aside.

          Infuse the Lavender:

            - In another small saucepan, bring 1 cup of water to a boil.

              - Remove from heat and add the dried culinary lavender. Steep for about 10 minutes.

                - Strain the lavender water through a fine mesh sieve to remove the lavender flowers. Allow it to cool.

                  Combine Lemonade Ingredients:

                    - In a large pitcher, combine the blueberry syrup, lavender infusion, freshly squeezed lemon juice, and granulated sugar. Mix well until the sugar is dissolved.

                      Dilute and Chill:

                        - Add the 4 cups of cold water to the pitcher, stirring to combine. Taste and adjust sweetness if necessary by adding more sugar or lemon juice, according to your preference.

                          - Refrigerate the lemonade for at least 1 hour to chill and allow the flavors to meld.

                            Serve:

                              - Fill glasses with ice and pour the blueberry lavender lemonade over.

                                - Garnish with lemon slices, fresh blueberries, and a sprig of lavender for an elegant touch.

Enjoy this refreshing and aromatic twist on classic lemonade!
