Ingredients

4 bone-in pork chops (about 1 inch thick)

1 packet (1 oz) ranch seasoning mix

1 cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko for extra crunch)

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

½ tsp paprika

½ tsp black pepper

1 cup buttermilk (or milk mixed with 1 tsp lemon juice)

2 tbsp olive oil

Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

Prepare the Pork Chops: Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels. Season them lightly with salt and black pepper.

Dredge in Buttermilk: Pour the buttermilk into a shallow dish. Dip each pork chop into the buttermilk, ensuring they are well-coated. Let them sit for about 10 minutes to absorb the flavor.

Mix the Coating: In a separate bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, ranch seasoning mix, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and black pepper. Mix well until evenly combined.

Coat the Pork Chops: Take each buttermilk-soaked pork chop and dredge it in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing down lightly to ensure the coating adheres well. Each chop should be generously coated.

Prepare for Baking: Place the breaded pork chops on the prepared baking sheet. Drizzle olive oil over the top of the chops for added moisture and crispiness.

Bake: Bake the pork chops in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until they reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C) and the coating is golden brown.

Serving: Once cooked, remove the pork chops from the oven and let them rest for 5 minutes. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley, if desired, and serve with your favorite sides like mashed potatoes or green beans.
